Honda to launch the new CB 125F in UK
The new Honda CB 125F made it’s European début at Motorcycle Live. The successor to the CBF125, the new model sports a new 124.7cc engine, which makes less power than before at 10.5 PS and 10.1 Nm of torque, compared to the current model’s 11.1 PS and 11.2 Nm of torque.
Apart from the new engine, the CB 125F features a new chassis which improves the build quality of the bike, a balancer shaft to reduce vibrations, and 18-inch spoke wheels. The bike will be available in an array of colours including yellow, blue and red.
According to Honda UK “The 2015 CB 125F is drawn from a fresh gene pool and while it maintains the previous model’s core strengths, it builds heavily on quality, ease of use and a desirable new look. It’s a great bike to simply get riders where they need to be or from where to begin a lifetime of motorcycling.”

Honda achieves the 300 million milestone
Imagine 300 million bikes parked together, from horizon to horizon, nothing but a sea of bikes. Honda Motor Company announced the amazing achievement of producing more than 300 million motorcycles globally, which was accomplished in September 2014. The model that became the 300 millionth bike to carry that iconic wing logo was the Gold Wing 40th Anniversary edition.
Honda Motor Company enters its 66th year of manufacturing motorcycles. The company has gone from strength to strength since the brand’s début in 1949 with the Honda Dream Type-D. The company now boasts of 33 production facilities in 22 countries around the world, with the Kumamoto factory being Honda’s primary plant in Japan.
Honda has also made a mark in the motorcycle racing arena, holding 21 Constructors Titles in the premier class (now MotoGP), 63 Constructors Championships and 697 races across all categories. Commenting on the amazing success story, Takanobu Ito, President and CEO Honda, stated “Thanks to support from our customers and all of the people involved in development, production and sales, Honda was able to reach the 300 million unit milestone. We will continue to provide products that will please our customers in each country and region in the world.”

Kawasaki to launch new Concours 14 ABS
Kawasaki unveiled the Concours14 ABS, a bike that will join the street-legal Ninja H2 and the H2R as a part of the company’s 2015 line-up.
The new Concours14 is powered by the same 1,352cc, 4-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) as seen on the Ninja ZX-14R. The 2015 Concours14 benefits from a raft of new enhancements including a revised first gear ratio, lighter steering at low speeds, a stiffer suspension for better carrying capacity and the new K-ACT ABS braking system. The other highlights are the electronically adjustable windscreen which has a three-position vent to reduce pressure, new seat for a comfortable and upright riding position, and new silver bezels on the instrument console. Tyre Pressure Monitoring and headed grips will also come as standard.
The 2015 Kawasaki Concours14 ABS will be available in two colour options – Candy Lime Green and Metallic Spark Black. The bike will be priced at $15,499 (Rs 9.55 lakh).
