Honda to launch the new CB 125F in UK
The new Honda CB 125F made it’s European début at Motorcycle Live. The successor to the CBF125, the new model sports a new 124.7cc engine, which makes less power than before at 10.5 PS and 10.1 Nm of torque, compared to the current model’s 11.1 PS and 11.2 Nm of torque.
Apart from the new engine, the CB 125F features a new chassis which improves the build quality of the bike, a balancer shaft to reduce vibrations, and 18-inch spoke wheels. The bike will be available in an array of colours including yellow, blue and red.
According to Honda UK “The 2015 CB 125F is drawn from a fresh gene pool and while it maintains the previous model’s core strengths, it builds heavily on quality, ease of use and a desirable new look. It’s a great bike to simply get riders where they need to be or from where to begin a lifetime of motorcycling.”

Kawasaki to launch new Concours 14 ABS
Kawasaki unveiled the Concours14 ABS, a bike that will join the street-legal Ninja H2 and the H2R as a part of the company’s 2015 line-up.
The new Concours14 is powered by the same 1,352cc, 4-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) as seen on the Ninja ZX-14R. The 2015 Concours14 benefits from a raft of new enhancements including a revised first gear ratio, lighter steering at low speeds, a stiffer suspension for better carrying capacity and the new K-ACT ABS braking system. The other highlights are the electronically adjustable windscreen which has a three-position vent to reduce pressure, new seat for a comfortable and upright riding position, and new silver bezels on the instrument console. Tyre Pressure Monitoring and headed grips will also come as standard.
The 2015 Kawasaki Concours14 ABS will be available in two colour options – Candy Lime Green and Metallic Spark Black. The bike will be priced at $15,499 (Rs 9.55 lakh).

Harley organises HOG ride, Rock Riders music festival
More than 700 Harley-Davidson owners gathered for the 3rd Northern Harley Owner’s Group (HOG) Rally in Pushkar recently. Harley owners from across 13 Indian H.O.G. Chapters gathered in Pushkar, making this the largest zonal rally so far.
The riders had the privilege of camping amidst sand dunes and got to participate in a assortment of activities such as hot air balloon, and helicopter rides above the mystical city of Pushkar. This along with a custom motorcycle zone, arm wrestling competitions, workshops on pre-ride motorcycle maintenance,a fusion music night, and, not to forget Harley’s signature custom contest where riders showcase their creativity in customizing their motorcycles. After such an enormous turn out, the H.O.G. will ride on, next stop, the 3rd Eastern H.O.G. Rally to Khajurao in December 2014.
The festivities, however, continue. This time in Mumbai with the Harley Rock Riders festival. This year Grammy nominated American alternative rock band Mutemath will be performing along with other popular names like Zero, Scribe, Blackstratblues, Modern Mafia, One Night Stand, The Circus, Such Nice Boys (feat. Kanan Gill & Kenneth Sebastian), The Supersonics, Devoid, Blakc, Ravi Iyer, Pangea, Tough on Tobacco, Undying Inc, Reverrse Polarity, Duncun Rufus and Until We Last. Along with headbanging to great tunes, attendees will also get a chance to view the first ever Harley-Davidson Street 750 which has been customized by Rajputana Customs. So, overall, It should be one wild fun night.

KTM Orange Day comes to Mumbai
The Austrian motorcycle company is geared up for the Orange Day – an event where KTM owners will get an opportunity to take part in head to head races and various other racing and adventure packed events.
The Orange Day event will showcase the new race inspired bikes by KTM – the RC 200 and RC 390. The event will also have stalls for KTM power-wear and Power parts. This event will bring biking enthusiasts and fans from across the city to come witness this biking event. The event will be held on the 15th of November.

Hero MotoCorp announces 2015 line-up for Europe
The Indian motorcycle company Hero MotoCorp made headlines at EICMA, by announcing the company’s global expansion plans, and also by showcasing two new products – the Hastur 620, which was showcased at the Auto Expo as a concept bike, and, as we mentioned back in October, they will also launch the HX250R.
The first phase of its entry in Europe, will see products being launched in Italy, Spain and France and the second phase will include UK and Germany. The firm also announced an investment of Rs 4917 crore in building capacity across the globe in the next few years. Hero will first launch the the 125cc hybrid scooter called “Leap” in these markets, and subsequently bring in more models including scooters and motorcycles.
The Hastur 620 is an aggressive looking parallel twin street-fighter, which claims to produce 80 PS and the HX250R is a fully faired sports bike designed in partnership with Erik Buell Racing, with a single-cylinder engine producing 31 PS.
Commenting on this major feat, Hero CEO, Pawan Munjal said, “Today, one out of every 10 bikes sold globally is a Hero bike and every second two-wheeler sold in India is from Hero. This places us in a unique position to expand our business into new markets across continents. We are now looking at stepping into the European market by the end of 2015.”
