Spec Comparo: Royal Enfield Scram 440 v Suzuki V-Strom SX v Yezdi Adventure

February 27, 2025 by Team Bike India Leave a Comment

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 came out of nowhere, and Royal Enfield have done some serious engineering on this bike while upgrading it from the Scram 411, as it now sports a six-speed gearbox. Even Suzuki couldn’t do that when they were upgrading their legendary DRZ400, but Suzuki does make a bike in India, which posts very similar power and torque figures while costing nearly the same—the Suzuki V-Strom SX, also called the V-Strom 250 in some markets. Interestingly, there is yet another motorcycle in that sub-2.2 lakh price range—the Yezdi Adventure, which recently received a host of updates. So we thought that all three bikes cater to the touring clientele while possessing different degrees of off-road cred and costing nearly the same, so why not compare them to see what’s what?

Spec Comparo: Yamaha Aerox 155 vs Hero Xoom 160 vs Aprilia SR 160

February 18, 2025 by Sayantan De Leave a Comment

The Yamaha Aerox, when it was launched back in 2021, was in a class of its own, as there wasn’t anything that could really compare with it in terms of performance. However, that’s about to change, as despite not being the largest scooter manufacturer in India (that place goes to Honda, followed by TVS and Suzuki), they are the ones to challenge Yamaha for the liquid-cooled premium scooter market. However, the Hero Xoom 160, apart from the Yamaha Aerox 155, has one more, well-established rival—the Aprilia SR 160, Granted, it makes less power, but then, it also is significantly lighter. Let’s take a quick look at the spec sheets.

Honda CB200X is Now The Honda NX200, Gets Dual-channel ABS

February 18, 2025 by Sayantan De Leave a Comment

Honda Two-wheelers India have taken a leaf out of the book of Honda Global, and renamed the Honda CB200X as the Honda NX200, just like they did with the Honda NX500, which was previously called the Honda CB500X. The price of the new Honda NX200 is Rs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it dearer by about Rs 17,500, as the CB200X carried a price tag of Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom). Despite the price increase, the 200-cc Honda remains one of the most affordable adventure bikes in the country.
