Harley-Davidson have launched their 2016 line-up on Indian shores, prices and all. The big announcement is the return of the Road King, and a few mechanic and visual updates to the rest of the throng. The Iron 883 and Forty-Eight get improved graphics, suspension and seats, while the Street 750 gets more braking power. The Heritage Softail Classic gets new saddle bags, cruise control as standard and Harley’s High Output Twin Cam 103 engine.
The prices for the bikes (all ex-showroom Delhi) are:
Iron 883 – Rs 7.37 lakh
Forty-Eight – Rs 9.12 lakh
Street 750 – Rs 4.52 lakh
Road King – Rs 25 lakh
Heritage Softail Classic – Rs 16.60 lakh
Of course, Harley-Davidson isn’t just a motorcycle production conglomerate but a more intrinsic lifestyle product. So, the bar and shield have also launched their new MotorClothes, which includes an updated Black Label Collection, and this is apart from a wider more exhaustive parts and accessories collection which has also hit Indian showrooms.
We’ve ridden the new Street 750, Iron 883 and Forty-Eight already, and you can catch our first impressions of these bikes very soon right here on the Bike India website, so keep your eyes peeled.
