The TVS Apache RTR 310 is one of those motorcycles that are easily misunderstood.

Spec-sheet warriors are quick to dismiss it in a game of top trumps but there is more to it than numbers. Having spent a few months riding this motorcycle every day, we are certain this Apache is difficult to dislike and deserves to be ridden before being judged.
In many ways, the Apache RTR 310 is just what the enthusiast needs for daily use in the city because it ticks a lot of boxes without many compromises. The seating position is engaging yet comfortable and the final drive gearing does not restrict one to a single gear. This motorcycle is capable of sustaining the higher gears at low speeds and can be ridden in town without constant gear-shifts. Even so, I did the best I could to change gears as frequently as possible because the quick-shifter is a joy to use and is easily the best unit I have experienced within this price range.
TVS have calibrated the riding modes to perfection and each one of those delivers as promised. At the end of our time with this naked motorcycle, we find ourselves wishing we had it for a longer time. Perhaps, the price is what keeps people from giving this Apache the recognition it deserves.
