Kawasaki to launch new Concours 14 ABS
Kawasaki unveiled the Concours14 ABS, a bike that will join the street-legal Ninja H2 and the H2R as a part of the company’s 2015 line-up.
The new Concours14 is powered by the same 1,352cc, 4-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) as seen on the Ninja ZX-14R. The 2015 Concours14 benefits from a raft of new enhancements including a revised first gear ratio, lighter steering at low speeds, a stiffer suspension for better carrying capacity and the new K-ACT ABS braking system. The other highlights are the electronically adjustable windscreen which has a three-position vent to reduce pressure, new seat for a comfortable and upright riding position, and new silver bezels on the instrument console. Tyre Pressure Monitoring and headed grips will also come as standard.
The 2015 Kawasaki Concours14 ABS will be available in two colour options – Candy Lime Green and Metallic Spark Black. The bike will be priced at $15,499 (Rs 9.55 lakh).
