Triumph Thruxton R Launched in India

June 3, 2016 by Ravi Chandnani Leave a Comment

Triumph ThruxtonR Launch

Triumph Motorcycles India finally launch the much-awaited bike from the new Bonneville range

Today, Triumph Motorcycles India launched the third and the final bike of the new Bonneville range – the Thruxton R. This latest café racer from Triumph is priced at Rs 10.9 lakh (ex-Delhi), which is amazing value for money.  The new ThruxtonR is powered by a 1200 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor, which was developed especially for the new range. This motor is capable of producing 97 PS and 112 Nm of torque.

Styling of the new ThruxtonR is also commendable as the designers have maintained the era-appropriate look, however, the new ThruxtonR comes loaded with modern-day features like the Brembo brakes, Öhlins shocks, Showa Big Piston front forks and electronic goodies like ride-by-wire throttle, traction control and riding modes. To know more about this scintillating new machine, you can read our first ride review here: Triumph ThruxtonR First Ride Review
