Honda launched the Shine 100 motorcycle in 2023, after their non-compete clause with Hero following their split came to an end. Since then, Honda sold more than three lakh units in the first year alone, excluding exports. It is not quite a large percentage of their monthly sales of nearly three lakhs in the Indian market, though, mainly courtesy of the Activa, which sells more than one lakh units almost every month.

It is powered by a 109.51-cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that is now OBD2B-compliant to meet the upcoming government regulations. The motorcycle produces 8.8 hp at 7,500 rpm and 9.30 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
