Triumph Motorcycles India will be partnering with the Smile Foundation for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations. The objective of this collaboration is to emphasise the importance of education for the girl child. Triumph confirmed that the ‘Ride for Freedom’ will take place across their twelve dealerships to spread awareness regarding the cause.

The company has partnered with Smile foundation, an NGO which has been playing a pivotal role in addressing the issues of healthcare and education of underprivileged children across the country. The NGO has also been actively undertaking women empowerment programs. The participants of the ride will be donating anything within the range of Rs 500 to Rs 4,200 for the cause.

Commenting on the initiative, Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “Girls are still not allowed to right for education in many parts of India. True Independence is when all citizens can enjoy all the fundamental rights of our country.  As India enters into its 69 years of Independence, Triumph Motorcycle owners will Ride their bikes to pledge for this Freedom.”
