Anyway, apart from the new engine and frame, which were developed from the ground up, there are numerous new features that make this Bonneville a modern day bike. The standard T120 and T120 Black will get a whole set of goodies that are usually seen on performance bikes like traction control, riding modes and a slipper clutch along with ride-by-wire throttle and liquid-cooling. ABS will be standard and so will be the new DRLs or Day Time Running lights. A retro looking twin-pod instrument cluster with digital display, LED tail light, heated grips, USB charging port, engine immobiliser will also be part of the standard package.
And just like the Street Twin, Triumph are also going to offer a range of custom accessories, 160 dedicated accessories to be precise. Not only that, you will also be able to buy a custom kit called the Prestige Inspiration Kit, which brings with itself even more detailing and a custom exhaust from Vance and Hines, Triumph’s new exhaust collaborators.
Internationally, Triumph will launch the T120 range after March 2016 and that is when we expect the company to launch the entire range in India as well, which will include the Street Twin and the Thruxton as well. However, Auto Expo and India Bike Week will also play host to these motorcycles before the launch. Pricing and other details are yet to be revealed however, we expect the Triumph to price the bikes higher than the current Bonneville range in India.
