Bajaj have launched the all-new Pulsar NS 125 in an effort to further their reach among the young sports motorcycle enthusiasts of the country.

Combining sporty styling, affordability and decent fuel efficiency, the Bajaj Pulsar has been a very popular line of motorcycles since its inception. And notably within the Pulsar line-up, the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS, now NS 200, has a fan following of its own.

Now the company has launched the smaller Pulsar NS 125 at a price of Rs 93,690 (ex-showroom), bringing performance and the thrill of sport biking to the 125-cc segment.

The 125-cc, BS6 DTS-i engine powering the Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 delivers 12 hp and 11 Nm, which the company claims to be segment-leading performance figures besides promising superior power delivery and immediate throttle response at the rider’s disposal. The rigid, high-stiffness perimeter frame will ensure the bike handles well at the corners while the Nitrox mono-shock absorber will give the bike stability over a vast range of road conditions.

Customers eyeing the Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 can choose from 4 colour options – Beach Blue, Fiery Orange, Burnt Red and Pewter Grey. A glossy metallic paint on the body and perimeter frame along with alloys coated with a unique bronze shade complement the signature wolf-eyed headlamp cluster with twin pilot lamps, giving the bike a sleek demeanour. The infinity twin-strip LED tail lamps, the sporty split grab rail and an attractive belly pan complete the authentic “Pulsar NS” look.

The Pulsar NS series has carved a niche for itself in the highly competitive entry sports segment. Now joining its bigger brothers, the Pulsar NS 200 and the Pulsar NS 160 is the Pulsar NS 125 with features that will appeal to the first-time sport biking enthusiasts.

Commenting on the launch, Sarang Kanade, President, Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto said “We are excited to bring the pedigree of the higher cc Pulsar NS series bikes, for first-time performance riding enthusiasts. The thrill that the new Pulsar NS 125 is built to offer, will appeal to a large segment of customers with its multiple class-leading features. The Pulsar 125 has been very well received by consumers and we are confident that the new NS 125 will further strengthen the brand’s position in the entry sport bike segment”.

In recent years, however, the MT-10 has begun to show its age, especially in terms of technology and rider aids. It was always on the thirsty side, too, and, by modern standards, the brakes were lacking. It was time for an update, which is why for 2022 Yamaha introduced a new MT-10 earlier this year.
