1 Boat Club road, one of the more posh localities of Pune city just got a little bit of Italian flair with the inauguration of premium motorcycle manufacturer Ducati’s showroom there. This marks Ducati’s fifth imprint in India, and this newest dealership, covering a sprawling 4,500 sq ft. will provide anything and everything a budding Ducatisti could ask for. Be it sales, services, spares or accessories, Bavaria Motors, one of Pune’s biggest dealer partners in the automotive space, have tied up with the bike makers from Bologna to make sure Pune’s Citizenry is not left wanting in any way.
The entire Ducati India line-up is now available here in Pune, which includes Ducati’s most recent launch in India, its super-mid track-scorcher: the 959 Panigale. Ravi Avalur, MD, Ducati India personally handed out keys to Ducati Pune’s first three customers. He also spoke to the assembled throng of journalists, saying, “Pune and its neighbouring cities have some of the most passionate motorcyclists in the country and we are keen to bring to them a taste of the authentic Italian performance that Ducati offers. We believe our partnership with Bavaria Motors will help us deliver to the city a customer ownership experience that is consistent with our global standards.”
Vishal Agarwal, MD at Bavaria Motors also addressed the media present, “We are delighted to partner with Ducati and bring the iconic brand to a region so passionate about motorcycles. Even before we started operations we have been overwhelmed with inquiries.
