Come 2015, and Benelli’s BN 302 will be available in more colours.

Benelli are close to launching their bikes in the Indian market through their alliance with DSK Group, who also have Korean bike brand Hyosung in their umbrella. The company will function as DSK Benelli . One of the bikes coming in, the BN 302, is set to receive more colours in January 2015. Thus far available in only Orange and White, the BN 302 will add Green and Black options to this list.

The BN 302, ‘BN’ referring to Benelli Naked, sports a 300-cc fuel-injected parallel-twin making 37 PS at 11,500 RPM and 27 Nm at 9,000 RPM. It sports a 6-speed gearbox, 120/70 R17 front and 160/60 R17 rear rubber, USD-forks, dual front discs, a rear disc and weighs 185 kg. It is styled to be aggressive yet give the rider good clutch control, great ergonomics, easy handling and confident braking.

The BN 302 will arrive in India in early 2015. We expect a price tag around Rs 3 lakh. The rest of the range, two more BN series bikes- the four-cylinder 600i and 600 GT – as well as two TNT (Tornado Naked Triple) three-cylinder models, in 899 and 1130R guise, will be offered. You can read our exclusive first ride of the TNT 1130R in the December 2014 issue of Bike India magazine.
