On the occasion of the 4th International Day of the Girl Child, Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) members nationwide hit the roads for a father-daughter ride. The ride was organised in coalition with non-profit The Bindi Project, with the aim of celebrating that special parent-daughter bond and motivating whoever they crossed paths with to do the same. This is the second year in a row that H-D have organised this ride, and all 15 H.O.G. chapters from all four corners of the country rose to answer the call.

Speaking about this ride, Pallavi Singh, Director of Marketing, Harley-Davidson India said, “We are very proud to be associating with The Bindi Project for the second year, and participating in the Father-Daughter Ride. This unique initiative helps us spread the message of fostering love and respect for women in the country, and also gives us a chance to celebrate riding with our daughters.”

Sunil Desai, Founder of The Bindi Project spoke his piece about the ride to, saying, “It is great to see members of the Harley Owners Group come together again to celebrate the 4th International Day of the Girl Child. By holding Father-Daughter rides across the country and publicly sharing their love and respect for own their daughters, they are helping to inspire others to want similar relationships. I believe that such initiatives will both help save baby girls from the impact of son preference and eventually transform our society to treat all women and girls with respect and love throughout their lives.”
