Yamaha have organised the sixth edition of the National Technician Grand Prix (NTGP) 2015.

Yamaha announced the sixth edition of the National Technician Grand Prix (NTGP) 2015, bringing to the fore 20 distinguished technicians shortlisted from 1,385 participants across the country. The three-day event is being held at the company’s Surajpur plant and will culminate on December 2, with a single winner emerging from the top 20. The winner shall then progress to the World Technician Grand Prix, an annual global event conducted by Yamaha.

The contest analyses the participant’s skill with regards to precision, punctuality and efficiency. The contest includes theory, trouble-shooting, repair, inspection and customer interaction. The winner is decided by the cumulative points earned in each of the rounds.

Commenting on the occasion, Ravinder Singh, VP, Strategy and Planning, Yamaha Motor India said, “At Yamaha our corporate mission is to create Kando i.e. our endeavour to realize peoples’ dreams with ingenuity and passion. We at Yamaha, along with offering world class products also derive lot of pride in our high standards in customer service. We invest as much in building benchmarks in customer service as we do in creating world class products. NTGP bears testimony of our commitment towards our customer as well as our employees.”
