Suzuki Motorcycle India one of the biggest two-wheeler manufacturers in the country have brought two iconic litre-class motorcycles to Indian shores – the GSX-S1000, a naked roadster and the GSX-S1000F, a fully faired version of the roadster. These two motorcycles are the latest entrants in Suzuki’s stable.
The GSX-S1000 and the S1000F are the perfect bikes for those enthusiasts who are looking for a powerful, practical and well styled bike. Both the GSX-S siblings have inherited various characteristics of the company’s legendary GSX-R1000 motorcycle. These include the 999-cc engine, tweaked to produce 146 PS, 43mm inverted KYB forks, radial mount monobloc brembo brakes, switchable 3-mode traction control, and the instrument cluster which displays an array of comprehensive information.
Commenting on the occasion, Atul Gupta, Exec. VP, Suzuki Motorcycle India said, “ The GSX-S1000 is a naked roadster with an aggressive look, while the GSX-S1000F is its fully faired sibling. Their supersport genes deliver smooth, controlled handling and dynamic acceleration. We are launching these models globally and in India at the same time so that Indian motorcycle enthusiasts can lay their hands on the latest, top of the line Suzuki products. These motorcycles cater to the rider who wants a performance street motorcycle. These sport roadsters have expanded our already diverse big motorcycle lineup.”
Both the GSX-S1000 and the GSX-S1000F are available in two colours – a Candy Daring Red and Triton Blue. The two beasts from Suzuki are priced at Rs 12.25 lakh and Rs 12.70 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
