When the Sherpa 450 engine was launched in the Himalayan 450, its character led us to believe that it would do well in a roadster, too, and when the Guerrilla arrived later, it became clear that was Royal Enfield’s plan all along.

They have got the engine and chassis right with this one and it has been living up to its claims so far. With a healthy splash of both retro and modern styling, it catches the eye while also being superbly rewarding to ride in town.
Now that we have lived with the motorcycle for a while, we feel it still has potential that could be tapped with a few changes, including but not limited to the tyres and final drive gearing. We also attended Red Bull Moto Jam and Generation Speed where we witnessed the stunting capabilities of this motorcycle. Furthermore, a few tasteful custom builds have also surfaced on the Internet.
Given the range of its abilities, we are yet to decide which direction to pursue. In the meantime, the Guerrilla will continue to make quick work of urban chaos.
