The Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 has been launched alongside the Gixxer SF 250. The bike is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 12,000 more expensive than the current model. The bike receives various styling and equipment upgrades.

The new 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 is similar to that of the SF 250 in terms in terms of styling and gets a new fairing that sports sharp-looking LED headlights. Other upgrades include a split-seat configuration compared to the single seat on the older model. The Gixxer SF 150 now gets clip-on handlebars which might change the riding posture slightly. The instrument cluster of the motorcycle has been changed and features a different layout compared to the older model.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 is still powered by a 154.9-cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, but now makes 14.1 PS and 14 Nm of torque, which is slightly lesser than the older model. Hardware like the suspension and brakes remains the same. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 will use the same 41-mm telescopic fork and mono-shock, with disc brakes at both ends. Suzuki has said that they have strengthened the frame on the new bike with a thicker centre tube and retuned the suspension slightly. The bike will get single-channel ABS as standard.

We look forward to riding the Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 to tell you all about it.

In recent years, however, the MT-10 has begun to show its age, especially in terms of technology and rider aids. It was always on the thirsty side, too, and, by modern standards, the brakes were lacking. It was time for an update, which is why for 2022 Yamaha introduced a new MT-10 earlier this year.
