Elofic Enters Indian Two-Wheeler Filter Market

Elofic Industries Ltd, manufacturer of automotive filters, recently entered the Indian two-wheeler filter market.

Its range of products encompasses foam filters, filter elements, and plastic moulded air filters for selected OEMs in India, with plans to cover all OEMs soon.

 

The company already exports two-wheeler filters for Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Harley-Davidson in the European and American markets.

The company was established in 1951 and currently has three manufacturing units for filters, 15 marketing offices, 1,000 distributors and 30,000 retailers across India. It plans to set up 100 distributors for two-wheeler filters.

Elofic holds multiple quality certifications including ISO:9002, ISO:9001, QS:9000, TS 16949:2002, TS 16949:2009, OHSAS 18001:2007, and ISO 14001:2004. The company received the Rajiv Gandhi Award for Quality in 1998 and the ACMA Quality Award in 1999. Its Chairman MS Sahni was awarded the All India Best Entrepreneur Award for 2007 by the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
