BMW Motorrad and TVS Motors joined hands to create bikes under 500cc in early 2013 and we were hoping something fantastic would emerge. With BMW’s engineering finesse and TVS’ mass manufacturing capabilities, the partnership will most likely yield a quality product. And after almost two years we are seeing the first spy shots of the bike.
The images show a naked streetfighter with a radiator that implies a liquid-cooled unit. You can also notice the wide handlebars, rear-set footrests, side-slung exhaust, and single projector headlamp. The front end features a single disc possibly with a twin-pot calliper. A single ventilated disc can also be seen at the rear. When launched, the bike is expected to be powered by a 300cc single-cylinder unit and will lock horns with the likes of the KTM 390 Duke and the Kawasaki Z250. We’ll keep you posted, as and when we hear more about this bike, so watch this space.
