New Kawasaki Z250 makes Tokyo entry

November 21, 2013 by Team Bike India Leave a Comment

kawasaki Z250 tokyo web 1

Kawasaki’s aggressive, street fighter, the Z250 was put up on display at the Tokyo Motor Show, and it was accompanied by the news of a possible appearance in Indian markets. The bike is visually similar to the big-engined naked street racers that make up Kawasaki’s Z-stock, and it’s sharp, predatory lines and in-your-face design philosophy will cause many heads to turn.

The Z250 isn’t just all about the looks either, as it sports a liquid cooled, 4-stroke 249cc parallel twin engine with fuel-injection, giving the bike a bit of bite to go with it’s bark. This, coupled with dual throttle valves mean the bike’s throttle response is dynamic and instantaneous, and even enjoys improved efficiency. The firm steel-tube diamond frame helps keep the weight down, while the wide handlebars and 140 mm rear tyre make manoeuvrability a breeze.

WE don’t know for sure the Z250 will make it to India or not, but its presence or lack thereof at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo will be a strong indicator of whether or not this will happen, so watch this space.
