Piaggio India has always marketed their line of Vespa scooters as a premium lifestyle product. With the upcoming festive season in mind, Vespa has launched a limited edition version of the VX model called the Elegante. The Elegante has been created to give a more luxurious feel to its riders.
The front panel now gets a new chrome grill along with a chrome guard kit around the body and front bumper. In keeping with the retro look of the scooter, the Elegante gets twin leather finished seats and will come in two new metallic colours. The two new colours, a Maronne brown and a Pearla white were inspired from the brown clays of the Siena region in Italy and the white pearls found in the sea.
To compliment these new colours, Vespa will be providing matching coloured helmets along with the Elegante. They haven’t revealed what the price will be for the Elegante but expect it to cost at a premium of a few thousand over and above the standard Vespa VX.
