Adding to the line-up in India are the UM Renegade Commando Mojave and Renegade Commando Classic. Shown at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Renegade Commando Classic comes powered by a 279.5-cc single-cylinder motor producing 25.15 PS and 23 Nm, mated to a six-speed transmission. The visual changes include two-tone body paint and chrome highlights along with a saddlebag and tank cover. Setting the Classic apart is a new windshield, engine guards and a back rest. The Renegade Classic is available in Copper Cream and Candy Metallic Glossy Black colour options and costs Rs 1.89 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi).
The other bike launched by UM Motorcycle is the Renegade Commando Mojave, inspired by the Mojave desert – North America’s largest and driest desert. The Mojave edition shares the same 279.5-cc engine as the Renegade Commando Classic but come with slightly different styling. It’s available in sandy matt body colour, along with Mojave Desert branding and a fuel tank cell phone pad. This is a slightly more affordable version with a sticker of Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).
