TVS launch Scooty Zest Himalayan Highs edition

May 12, 2016 by Anosh Khumbatta Leave a Comment

Zest Special Edition Web

This new version is to commemorate Anam Hashim’s record-setting ride to Khardung La with Bike India

Last year the TVS Scooty Zest earned a place in the India Book of Records for being the first 110-cc scooter to reach Khardung La, and with a female rider aboard no less. Anam Hashim’s ride up to the world’s highest motorable road has prompted TVS to introduce a special edition of the Zest 110, named the Himalayan Highs edition. The scooter gets a new brown and beige colour scheme with matching mirrors, matching switchgear panels and a special emblem honouring the ride into the clouds.

Commenting on the special edition launch, Aniruddha Haldar, VP Marketing at TVS said, “The Scooty has been an iconic brand for mobility in India. It’s only fitting that the first 110-cc scooter to reach the highest motorable road is a Scooty Zest 110, and it was ridden there by Anam Hashim, a 21 year old Scooty Zest owner. We are happy that this feat has found place in the India Book of Records. To commemorate this historic ride, we are happy to launch the Himalayan Highs special edition. We continue to enhance the ride experience for the new age Indian woman.”

The scooter is available across all TVS showrooms and is priced at Rs 46,113 (Ex-showroom, Delhi.)
