Suzuki have introduced the Gixxer 250 – an India-made model – in Japan. The bike will be up for sale in the Japanese market on 25 May.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 intended for Japan will be no different in specifications compared to the one sold in India. The bike will be priced at ¥448,800 which converts to Rs 3 lakh approximately.

Powering the motorcycle is a 249-cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine which comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The machine puts out a maximum power of 26.1 hp at 9,300 rpm and a peak torque of 22.2 Nm at 7,300 rpm.

The 2021 Suzuki Gixxer 250 is styled as a naked streetfighter. It has a muscular fuel tank with extensions, a two-piece seat, blacked-out alloy wheels and a double-barrel exhaust. The bike features an attractive oval-shaped LED headlight as a part of the bike’s all-LED lighting system and a fully digital instrument cluster making the design of the Gixxer one of the most eye-catching in its segment.

A 41-mm telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear handle suspension duties of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 while disc brakes at both wheels enhanced with dual-channel ABS take care of stopping, safety and stability of the bike.
