February 21, 2013 by Aninda Sardar Leave a Comment

In their endeavour to promote their products, manufacturers come up with innovative new schemes and contestsintended to catch the fancy of the consumer. Like this. Suzuki have announced the winners of the ‘Dabangg2 Dumdaar, Hayate Shaandar’ contest which afforded the five lucky winners a chance to meet Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The elated winners had their dream come true when the superstar presented them with a Hayate each at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai. The campaign was an extension of Salman’s big ticket December release Dabangg2. Promotions were spread across television and print channels. Fifteen winners received a Suzuki Hayate while five ‘super lucky’ winners met Salman.

The five winners who walked away with the Hayate are –

·         Deepak from Lucknow

·         Rajkumar from Bhopal

·         James Hembram from Purnia

·         Sohan Lal Jat from Jaipur and

·         Vinod Kumar Prasad from Jamshedpur

Mr. Vipul Goel, National Head – Service & Spares, SMIPL, said, “The Hayate has been successful in establishing its core identity as tough, dependable and robust motorcycle amongst our customers. This campaign reinforced our stance in the mass motorcycle segment. The association with Salman and Dabangg2 gave this contest an edge which has resulted in widespread reach and appreciation. My heartiest congratulations to the winners.”

Deepak, winner from Lucknow, said, “Meeting Salman Khan was my long cherished dream. I am grateful to Suzuki two – wheelers for giving me the opportunity to meet with the Superstar. I am thrilled to receive the stylish Hayate.”
