Moto Morini in India

February 6, 2014 by Jim Gorde 1 Comment

Italian motorcycles makers Moto Morini are now in India through Vardenchi of Maharashtra. The 1200cc bikes will be available to order soon.

The Moto Morini Granpasso and Scrambler, shown at the Auto Expo, are the first to land on Indian soil. The Granpasso is an enduro bike with classic touches making it an all-conquering dualk-purpose bike. The Scrambler, on the other hand, provides the ultimate off-road and hard-surface performance with Metzeler Karoo3 tyres and carbon parts. Cycle parts are top notch with Brembo brakes, Marzocchi front forks and OHLINS rear monoshock units.

Both bikes are powered by an 8-valve, liquid-cooled 1,187cc V-twin engine making 118 PS at 8,400 RPM and 105 Nm of torque at 7,000 RPM. A 6-speed gearbox handles power delivery duties.
