Long Term Review – TVS Scooty Zest 110

April 14, 2015 by Jim Gorde Leave a Comment

TVS Scooty Zest 110 Long Term 2 web

TVS’ Scooty Zest 110 can be aptly summed up as the Caterham R500 of scooters. Quick, agile and always fun.

The Scooty Zest has been with us for a few months now and has just returned from its second service. Prior to going in, apart from a rattle here and a buzz there, which I can only imagine were due to some loosened bolts, there were no other issues whatsoever. It still went just as quick as I recall it being when I first laid my hands on it. It was still just as efficient. The brakes still felt the same.

The Zest 110 went away for just a day and was back as good as new. All squeaky clean and fresh, the ‘Terrific Turquoise’ (Yes, that’s what it’s called) Zest 110 looked ready to excite yet again. It’s convenient, fun and reliable. Yes, apart from a lack of bite at the front, which a front disc brake would fix, I have absolutely nothing else to fault. I still wish there was a disc option, considering the Wego has one. A few extra pounds have been added to its total payload, but even so, the Zest 110 performs commendably. Looking forward to more happy miles with it.
