Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India have just launched the new upgraded 2018 Activa-i and Aviator in India at a very reasonable price of Rs 50,010 and Rs 55,157 (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. The Activa-i has been targeting the female market and comes in vibrant colours combinations. The Activa-i is now available in a host of new colours, five to be precise – Imperial Red Metallic, Lush Magenta, Candy Jazzy Blue, Matte Axis Grey Metallic and Orchid Purple Metallic. The Honda Aviator gets all the same features with a few distinctions, such as new LED headlamps with the Aviator signature on it. The new model now has four colour options, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic, Pearl Amazing White and the new addition of Pearl Spartan Red. The scooter is available in three options that are distinguished by their wheels, Standard, Alloy Drum and Alloy Disc. The scooter has the same BS-IV-compliant Honda Eco Technology (HET) 110-cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Activa, producing 8.0 PS and 8.94 Nm of torque that gets you up to a maximum speed of 83 km/h with the help of a V-matic transmission. Road contact on the Activa-i is achieved through 90-section tyres with 10-inch wheels for the Activa-i and 12-inch wheels for the Aviator up front and 10-inch rear wheels for both, and 130-mm drum brakes on both wheels help bring the bike to a halt when needed. The Avaitor as mentioned above has a disc brake variant on offer.
