The Activa-i though, has been playing second fiddle to the more popular and higher selling Activa and with these new feature upgrades to both scooters, hoping to boost their sales.
The Activa-i is now available in a host of new colours, five to be precise – Imperial Red Metallic, Lush Magenta, Candy Jazzy Blue, Matte Axis Grey Metallic and Orchid Purple Metallic. The Honda Aviator gets all the same features with a few distinctions, such as new LED headlamps with the Aviator signature on it. The new model now has four colour options, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic, Pearl Amazing White and the new addition of Pearl Spartan Red. The scooter is available in three options that are distinguished by their wheels, Standard, Alloy Drum and Alloy Disc. Road contact on the Activa-i is achieved through 90-section tyres with 10-inch wheels for the Activa-i and 12-inch wheels for the Aviator up front and 10-inch rear wheels for both, and 130-mm drum brakes on both wheels help bring the bike to a halt when needed. The Avaitor as mentioned above has a disc brake variant on offer.
The scooters list of features include a more compact design, CBS with a stability equaliser which gives the scooter better balance when braking, a new double-toned instrument panel, a new hook, metal muffler protectors, a 4-in-1 lock with a seat opening switch, colour-toned rear-view mirrors and a mobile charging port situated in the storage compartment under the seat.
