Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. – the Indian subsidiary of Italian scooter brand Piaggio launched their latest offering for the Indian market – The all new Vespa S. The sporty new scooter was officially launched at a glittering event in Mumbai. Present at the launch event were Bollywood actor Imran Khan and Ravi Chopra, MD, Piaggio India.

You will be aware that Bike India was the first to break the news of the Vespa S, when we spotted the sporty new offering at Piaggio’s Pune showroom a couple of days back. The Vespa S which was first showcased at the recently concluded 2014 Auto Expo in Noida, joins the likes of the LX and VX models in the Indian market.

With the same minimalist design approach as seen on all Vespa scooters, the Vespa S has been targeted specially for the urban youth. The square headlight and mirrors, new sporty speedometer cluster, the sculpted and contoured saddle, black alloy combination wheels are distinguishing features that make the Vespa S quite a trendy scooter.

The Vespa S has been priced at Rs 74,414 (Ex-Showroom, Pune).
