Steelbird AIR

September 24, 2015 by Ryan Lee 1 Comment

IMG_4743 web

The latest offering from Steelbird is the AIR which is aimed specifically at increased ventilation. The helmet uses three intake channels and an exhaust outlet for optimum ventilation. EPS rigs in the helmet ensure that the incoming air does not get trapped. It cools the rider’s head and goes out through the outlet vent. In addition to this, a rubber lining ensures a water-resistant seal and prevents rainwater from seeping into the helmet. The helmet uses a quick-release lock for a speedy interchange of the visor. The cheek-pads are slightly thin and can cause fluttering at high speed. The AIR is available in 14 different colours and at Rs 1,199 it is a decent offering for daily commuting in the city.
