Hero MotoCorp have launched three new motorcycles: the Passion Pro, Passion XPro and the new Super Splendor 125.
Various reports in the media claimed that Hero MotoCorp are looking to launch the dual-purpose X-Pulse which was revealed at EICMA 2017, and are also launching an Xtreme to rival the likes of the TVS Apache RTR200 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200.
However, Hero MotoCorp have updated the Passion range with the Passion Pro and XPro, that are powered by more vertical 110-cc singles making 9.5 PS at 7,500 rpm and 9.0 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Both are iSmart models featuring the company’s start/stop technology. The former Passion Pro models were powered by the 97.2-cc familiar sloping single-cylinder engine that makes 8.36 PS at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
The third launch is the new Super Splendor 125 iSmart, which gets the updated 124.7-cc engine making 11.5 PS at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
These new models will add to the onslaught from the 100-125-cc range Hero’s India portfolio.
