KTM’s new TVC targets youngsters

May 9, 2013 by Aninda Sardar Leave a Comment

Austrian two-wheel giants KTM are as well known for their amazing ads as they are for their motorcycles, and its all about painting the world orange. Now, over the years, there have been very few commercial advertisements for those little kiddie bikes or pocket bikes. But making the rounds now is an amazing TVC going viral on the internet, and even though it might not be an official TVC from the Austrian marque it really conveys the message in true KTM style: train a lot, work hard and one day you will become world champion.

The actual star in the TVC – apart from the kids – is the KTM 65SX bike, a 2-stroke liquid-cooled off-road bike with a 6-speed gearbox which is quite the perfect motorcycle to teach young ‘uns the basics of freestyle motocross riding. The reason we love this ad so much is because KTM is trying hard to infuse the spirit of motorcycling into kids as young as 10-12 yrs old and we just wish that some of our Indian manufacturers also come up with something on similar lines. As the saying goes, ‘boys turn to men and men turn to bikers.’
