Hero’s founder Dr Brijmohan Lall has passed away

The man responsible for the birth and growth of what is currently the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Dr Brijmohan Lall Munjal passed away yesterday at the age of 92. The late Chairman Emeritus of Hero MotoCorp established Hero as a bicycle manufacturer, making the firm the world’s biggest cycle manufacturer in 1986 and maintaining that position ever since. He also pioneered the motorcycle, auto ancillary, financial services, renewable energy, education and electronics divisions of the Hero group.
