Story: Team Bike India

Adding excitement to their product range, Royal Enfield have introduced nine “thumping” new colour options for their range of motorcycles. Four of these nine new shades are for the Classic, three for the iconic Bullet and one each for the Thunderbird and Continental GT. These new colour options will be available in addition to the existing range of colours and can be booked at all Royal Enfield company stores and dealerships. The best news however is that despite the new set of clothes these motorcycles will not see any change in their pricing. Prices for the popular range of Indian made British motorcycles continue to range from Rs 1.17 lakh for the standard Bullet to Rs 2.16 lakh for the Continental GT café racer. Prices being on-road in Delhi.

Classic 350 Chestnut Rs 1,41,453
Classic 350 Mint Rs 1,41,453

Bullet 350 Copperstripe Black Rs 1,32,788
Bullet 350 Electra Rs 1,32,788

“The new colours of the Classic has been carefully chosen to bring alive the authenticity of the Classic’s post war design. The Classic is a well-loved motorcycle and every iteration of it has been eagerly anticipated. We had to be very careful with the colours as just any old shade of green or chestnut wouldn’t have been good. So we chose a very vintage-y mint green and similarly the chestnut with an old patina,” said Rudratej (Rudy) Singh, President, Royal Enfield on the introduction of these new colours.

In recent years, however, the MT-10 has begun to show its age, especially in terms of technology and rider aids. It was always on the thirsty side, too, and, by modern standards, the brakes were lacking. It was time for an update, which is why for 2022 Yamaha introduced a new MT-10 earlier this year.
