The Indian Springfield is Here

Indian launch their iconic Springfield motorcycle in India.

Polaris India Pvt Ltd have unveiled the famous Indian Springfield motorcycle. This model was named after the birthplace of Indian Motorcycle. The massive bagger is powered by a 1,811-cc Thunder Stroke 111 engine that produces a colossal 138.9 Nm of torque at 2,600 rpm.

The Springfield is aimed at the cruiser market in India. Dealers have already begun accepting bookings for the motorcycle. Priced at Rs 31,07,770 (ex-showroom, Gurugram), this beautiful machine is not an easy buy.

What you do get for your money, however, is a work of motorcycle art that blends classic styling with modern technology. This enables the bike to be a very capable cruiser while not restricting its urban usability. The brand-new chassis design enables the bike to corner like no other bike in its class.

Other standard equipment in the bike include ABS, cast aluminum frame with integrated air-box, cruise control, front and rear highway bars compatible with lower weather protection, Indian® script tank gauge, keyless start, quick-release windshield, quick-release hard saddlebags, tyre pressure monitoring, and adjustable passenger floorboards. Currently, only the classic Thunder Black colour is available for the Indian market.
