Confederate Motorcycles will soon have their most powerful motorcycle on offer – a 200+ PS Fighter P51.
The maker of exclusive motorcycles has become world-famous with models like the now defunct Fighter and Wraith, but most notably, the Hellcat, which has sold more than half of its production run of 60 examples. The new Fighter P51 will have an even more powerful V-twin engine than the one in the current X132 Hellcat Speedster, which already uses a 2,163cc engine making 123 PS and 190 Nm. The new motor will make “more than 200 PS” and offer a substantial jump in power-to-weight ratio to go with it. Remember, the Hellcat weighs just about 225 kg dry.
Even so, don’t expect it to be cheap. The Hellcat is presently the ‘entry-level’ model at $65,000 (Rs 40 lakh). Stay tuned for more on this development.
