Yamaha YZF-R3 launch on 11th August

July 24, 2015 by Harket Suchde 2 Comments

Yamaha YZFR3 India launch web 5

Good news Indian Yamaha fans – the YZF-R3 cometh. That’s right, the latest scion from Yammie’s legendary R-series supersport bloodline will hit Indian shores (and showrooms) as soon as the 11th of August

For the unacquainted, the YZF-R3 is a 321-cc twin-cylinder, track focused bike that produces 42 PS at 10,750 RPM and 29.6 Nm of twist at 9000 RPM and is mated to a six-speed transmission. It also sports a wet clutch, 298mm and 220mm hydraulic single disc brakes at the front and rear respectively, and a 14-litre fuel tank capacity.

Quite tasty on paper that, but you’ll have to wait till our first ride report comes out to see if what the YZF-R3 boasts of on paper translates to the track and the streets, or not. Lastly, we expect the YZF-R3 to be priced in the Rs 3-3.5 lakh range.

      Hello, Nachikethus,

We do not expect a BS6 Yamaha YZF-R3 anytime soon.
