Yamaha launch the Fascino

May 8, 2015 by Bike India Team Leave a Comment

Yamaha Fascino- CyanWEB

India Yamaha Motor pulled the silks off their new scooter, the Fascino. The Fascino features a fresh design accentuated with chrome bits across the bodywork. The new scooter is powered by the same 113-cc air-cooled engine employed on the Ray, Ray Z and the Cygnus Alpha, but now features ‘Blue Core’ technology for improved engine efficiency. The peak 7.1 PS and 8.1 Nm are sent to the rear wheel via a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Weight stands at 103 kg, making it the lightest scooter in India from Yamaha. The Fascino is available in five colours.

Commenting on the occasion, Masaki Asano, MD, Sales, Yamaha Motor India said, “This is indeed a very special occasion for us as we launch our new style icon Fascino designed especially for the Indian youth. The Indian youth today represents more than 50% of the population in India. These are people who are fashionable, adventurous and like stepping out of conventional boundaries and set new standards. The Fascino has also been developed eccentrically based on the concept of dynamic elegance, classy tailoring and balance of function and design. We as a youthful brand wanted to present them with a product that could fascinate them and Fascino, we believe, will certainly be able to do the job well.”

The Fascino is priced at Rs 52,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be available immediately across all Yamaha dealerships.

Yamaha MT-10 SP – Ready for Road, Track, and Touring

In recent years, however, the MT-10 has begun to show its age, especially in terms of technology and rider aids. It was always on the thirsty side, too, and, by modern standards, the brakes were lacking. It was time for an update, which is why for 2022 Yamaha introduced a new MT-10 earlier this year.
