TVS Ntorq 150 in the Works; 2019 Launch Expected

July 11, 2018 by Joshua Varghese Leave a Comment

A larger Ntorq may be one of TVS' upcoming launches

TVS may have a larger Ntorq scooter in the works, one with a 150-cc engine. The new two-wheeler will be based on the Entorq 210 concept shown at Auto Expo 2016.

The Ntorq 125 was launched earlier this year and it has garnered popularity quite quickly. As we reported earlier, the Ntorq 125 is steadily climbing up the sales charts. Word on the street is that TVS are looking to make the most of the scooter’s momentum by launching a larger Ntorq; one with a 150-cc engine.

The Ntorq 150 is expected to derive design elements from the Entorq 210 concept that was showcased at the Auto Expo a couple of years ago. Motive force is most likely to be provided by a 150-cc engine that may be fuel injected. The list of features may include a smartphone docking station, keyless operation, and ABS.

Should you wait for this? Well, it is expected to be launched next year. However, TVS are yet to provide official confirmation. Considering TVS have global ambitions for this scooter, we can look forward to a product with robust construction and commendable levels of quality.

The Ntorq 125 is currently going up against the Aprilia SR 125. The bigger TVS scooter is expected to rival the Aprilia SR 150 and the Vespa 150s.
