2014 KTM 1290 Super Adventure web

In an adventerous move, KTM showcase the 1290 Super Adventure at INTERMOT.

The 1290 Super Adventure is powered by the massive 1,301cc, V-twin motor from the absolutely mental 1290 Super Duke R, which puts out 160 PS and 144 Nm of torque. Well, with loads of power comes a load of responsibility as well and the Austrian manufacturer has matched power with safety, claiming the 1290 Super Adventure to be the safest bike in the world.

The 2015 1290 Super Adventure features some of the most advanced rider-assistance and safety systems which include selectable traction control, motorcycle stability control, cornering ABS, cruise control, electronic hill-hold control (HHC), a semi-active suspension and even LED cornering head lamps. Apart from these features the other highlights inclued heated grips and seat, a larger fuel tank with a capacity of 30 litres and a revised windshield.

KTM believes that an amalgation of power and technology along with top-class safety features makes the 1290 Super Adventure a perfect touring bike.
