India-bound 250cc Triumph spied

December 2, 2013 by Team Bike India Leave a Comment

New Triumph 250 spied web - 1

We covered the unveil of the quarter-litre powerhouse that is the 250cc Triumph when it broke cover at EICMA, and now it looks like the bike is taking strides towards reaching production-ready status.

These spy pictures give us a first look at a physical manifestation of this design, previously only appearing in the form of a sketched rendering. These pictures have also gone a long way towards confirming that this bike does possess some of the bloodline of Triumph’s famed Daytona line, and sports a sporty, aerodynamic fairing to match.

Going by the looks of the liquid cooled, single cylinder, 250cc engine, it appears that the bike will be rather high revving, and an output of about 30PS at around 10,000 RPM cannot be ruled out.
