Hero launch new Duet

Hero Motocorp one of the biggest two-wheeler manufacturers in the country, begin the festive season with the launch of their new scooter – Duet.

Keeping their promise of launching youthful and stylish scooters for its customers, Hero’s Duet was launched in the southern markets today. Priced at Rs 48,400 (ex-showroom Bangalore) for the LX version and Rs 49, 900 for the VX variant, The Duet will be available at select showrooms only.

The Duet is powered by a 110cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine, producing 8.42 PS and 8.3 Nm of torque. The company claims that this engine is good to return a fuel efficiency of 63.8 km/l. The other interesting features on the Duet include under-seat mobile charging port, remote seat opening, remote external fuel-lid opening, twin parking lamps, lit glove box and side stand and service indicator warning lights.

Commenting on the occasion, Pawan Munjal, Chairman, MD and CEO, Hero MotoCorp, said “We have now expanded our scooter portfolio with the launch of the new scooter Duet. The Duet and Maestro Edge scooters – the first of the products developed by our own in-house R&D team – mark a significant step in Hero’s journey. The Maestro Edge has already proved to be a blockbuster since its launch earlier this month. Now with Duet in the market, we are confident of further strengthening our presence in the scooter segment.”
