Discover 125 ST is off the shelf. Bigger one to come soon

May 2, 2014 by Team Bike India Leave a Comment

Bajaj Discover ST

Bajaj Auto have restructured their Discover line-up of motorcycles, which is undergoing a revamp. The Indian two-wheeler giants have stopped selling the Discover 125ST motorcycle in India that marked the start of the new model range last year. Reasons cited for this move are the sluggish sales figures of the motorcycle due to it’s relatively steep price-tag in the segment and the higher seat height of the bike, by Indian standards.

However, Bajaj will continue selling the Discover 125T motorcycle, which is essentially the 125ST but with gas charged twin shock absorbers instead of the mono-shock rear suspension. The ouster of the 125ST should be compensated by the recently launched Discover 125M that boasts of a competitive pricetag and it will leave enough space for the upcoming 150cc version of the Discover. It will be based on the T/ST platform and will eventually replace the old generation Discover 150 sold currently.
