Ceat & MTV ‘Chase The Monsoon’

July 23, 2013 by Jim Gorde 1 Comment

Chase_MTVHere’s another TRP-scorcher, biking reality show from popular TV channel, MTV India

This unique social reality show will have eight riders, in teams of two, set out with a limited budget to explore the sights, scenes and life during the Indian monsoon on a 21-day biking road trip.

The participants have registered as couples or as twosome teams by submitting a video, photographs or blog entries about their adventurous biking experiences. The teams finally selected will embark on a journey from Pondicherry to Mumbai over 21 days, performing tasks and earning credits/money on the way at the stipulated task checkpoints.

Slated to begin on 24th July, the show will have participants share their experiences live online through updates, pictures and videos on the website chase.mtvindia.com and on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter (#ChaseTheMonsoon), Instagram and YouTube. This will be followed by a TV broadcast from the last week of August 2013, which will be hosted by MTV VJ, Nikhil Chinapa. Bike India will also get regular updates on the participants’ progress and the odd jobs a biker has to do while on the road.
