BMW and TVS gear up to launch a new series of sub-500cc bikes, which may be powered by 300cc engines, putting the bikes in the hottest sector of small capacity bikes. The company plans to launch three variants including a roadster, sportsbike and a GS series based model. The design and engineering of the new range of bikes will be done by BMW, and TVS will put in the remaining work to make the bikes ready for production.

Stephan Schaler was quoted in the media saying that these small capacity bikes are in the pipeline and will be showcased in a years time. If all goes according to plan the bikes will be revealed in October 2015 at the Intermot Motorcycle show in Cologne.
