Bicyclists from Jalandhar come together to spread awareness
In an attempt to spread awareness among people about the benefits of bicycling and curbing pollution, a group of 55 cyclists from Jalandhar undertook a 210-kilometre-long ride from Jalandhar to Pathankot and from there on to Dharamshala. The participants, aged 10 to 72 years, comprised students, medical practitioners, and industrialists, among others. These members of the Jalandhar Biking Club now plan to bicycle to Bhutan, a ride of 800 kilometres, according to Randeep Singh.
