Aprilia to launch RSV4 RR and RF

EICMA and the couple of months leading up to it is the busiest time for motorcycle manufacturers across the globe. Joining the 200-PS club is the Aprilia RSV4 RR and RF. Although the special edition RF in the image is not too different looking than the outgoing model, the 2015 version is drastically different under the skin. The visual changes include a revised fairing and rear-view mirror-mounted LED indicators. The fairing will also house a new headlight with LED parking lights.

The 999.6 cc 65° V4 now belts out a whopping 201 PS at 13,000 RPM and 115 Nm torque at 10,500 RPM and this in spite of shedding 1.5 kilograms of weight over the previous version. The changes extend to the internals as well; the camshaft with a more aggressive profile is now 0.5 kilograms lighter. The connecting rods have been trimmed of another 0.4 kilograms. On the chassis front, the swing arm has been lowered by 14 mm in lieu of a stickier rear end. A retuned exhaust system and an enhanced APRC package also find way on to the RSV4 RR.

An optional Race Pack offers forged aluminium wheels and Öhlins suspensions. The limited edition RF will feature ‘Superpole’ graphics and the Race Pack as standard.

Yamaha MT-10 SP – Ready for Road, Track, and Touring

In recent years, however, the MT-10 has begun to show its age, especially in terms of technology and rider aids. It was always on the thirsty side, too, and, by modern standards, the brakes were lacking. It was time for an update, which is why for 2022 Yamaha introduced a new MT-10 earlier this year.
