Moto Guzzi Bellagio launched in India

March 18, 2013 by Aninda Sardar Leave a Comment

Moto Guzzi, the premium Italian motorcycle manufacturer, has launched the Bellagio in India. Part of the Piaggio Group, which also owns the Aprilia and Vespa brands; this is the company’s second offering in the Indian market, with bookings already open for their Griso 1200 8V. The Bellagio is a muscle cruiser which retains all the traditional characteristics of the brand. It boasts equally potent street bike and touring credentials. The wire-spoke wheels, large diameter Brembo brakes and quality Marzocchi suspension make it quite the delectable package. Powering the Bellagio is a short-stroke 935cc V-twin engine making 74 PS and 78 Nm of torque, which is handled by a six-speed gearbox and sent to the rear wheel through a ‘compact reactive cardan shaft’ transmission. The bike weighs in at a relatively low 224 kg dry and the 19-litre fuel tank will allow for a good travel range.

Moto Guzzi has priced the Bellagio at Rs.15.2 lakh (ex-showroom Gurgaon). However, it is available in just one shade of black: Aquila Nero.
